Don’t Forget To Capture The Important Moments

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

As parents we want to remember every moment of our children’s life. This unfortunately is not possible to do. The closet thing to remembering every little moment is capturing them on camera. It is easier to remember things if you have a picture to look at. When you look at a picture you can usually remember every thing about that moment. My advice to you is take lots of pictures. It is not realistic to think that you will capture all the important moments with a camera but you can definitely try.

A scrapbook album is a wonderful way for you to remember each one of your children’s special moments. It is a wonderful gift idea as well. While your child is growing up you will be able to enjoy the book while you work on it and once they become an adult you can give the book to them as a gift that they will be able to share with their children one day.

Be sure to capture images of your child at every age. You will not want to forget what your babies look like as they grow. When you bring your newborn home and lay him down in the crib for the first time do not forget to snap a picture. This can be the very first picture in his scrapbook.

As your baby grows you will have more chances for pictures. Be sure to capture his first bike ride attempt. This is a very special day for your child. He will feel so grown up with his new black helmet and shiny new bike. This will definitely be a day that you both will want to remember.

Don’t forget to capture your little one going off to school for the first time. This is a very emotional day for parent and child. Your child is finally growing up and becoming independent. This can be difficult for parents to accept but it is a fact of life. When your child gets their drivers license be sure that you are standing by with the camera.

Be sure to take a photo of this first ride just as you did with the first bike ride they took. Remember that proud look your child had the day he learned to ride a bike well now he will be even more full of pride while climbing behind the wheel of the car. You will want this photo along with all the rest.

These are moments he will one day want to share with his family. It seems just like yesterday when you were taking that picture of your newborn in his baby bed. Well now you are taking a picture of him going to his first prom. This is a special night for your baby. When you put all these pictures together in a scrapbook you will not believe how much has happened in such a short amount of time. The next big moment you will need to capture on film will be your child’s graduation. This is probably a good time to give them their scrapbook.
