Natural Skin Care For Blemishes And Scars

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

People are constantly looking for a gentler and safer way of taking care of their skin. Natural skin treatments are normally the best way to go. In fact, there are several natural cleansing and moisturizing products out there. But, did you know that you can also treat your scars and other blemishes through natural skin care?

It may be difficult to believe, but it’s true. Natural skin products and treatments are just as effective as their more traditional counterparts. The biggest problem, however, is the time it takes to show definite results.

Nevertheless, if you are looking for gentle yet effective products, natural skin care is the way to go. Let’s take a look and see how these products can work for scars and blemishes.

Two of the most successful natural skin care products for scars are rose hip seed oil and snail serum. Both are added to traditional products and natural products as part of their ingredient list. Rose hip seed oil can be used in its purest, oil form.

Rose hip seed oil has been used for decades to treat dry skin, itchiness, and even in scar treatment. In fact, it is quite popular for dealing with stretch marks. Rose hip oil is rich in vitamins, enzymes, and acids that help promote the healing process.

It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, as well as essential fatty acids. These components are capable of maintaining skin young and healthy for the following reasons:

-Vitamin A normalizes the moisture of dry skin and increases the skin’s elasticity as well.

-Vitamin C is a highly efficient antioxidant that is crucial for the formation and function of collagen. Vitamin C also has a bleaching effect that can help reduce pigmentation problems.

-Essential fatty acids trigger the production of prostaglandins. These hormone-like substances regulate all kinds of cell functions.

Rose hip oil can be applied to the affected area throughout the day, however, you should avoid direct solar.

Snail serum (also known by some as Snail Serum glycoconjugates) is another biological compound that provides a wide range of benefits for your skin. Research has shown that it can improve cell function thanks to the antioxidants it contains. It helps remove scar tissue through the use of enzymes.

These components help dissolve scars and help promote the growth of new skin cells. It can also be used during the healing process to decrease the chances of developing scar tissue. Products containing snail serum can be applied throughout the day as well, because they do not cause any side effects.

If you are looking to treat blemishes or just want to find a good acne treatment try BIOSKINCARE. Both of these natural skin care lotions are made with snail serum which makes them safe for any skin type.

Tired Of Wrinkled Skin? Aging Skin Care Can Help

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Aging skin is a problem everyone will have to deal with sooner or later. If you start your anti-aging routine early on, you can help keep your skin looking younger for a longer period of time, however, if you take too long not even the best wrinkle cream will help.

Things that Causes Premature Aging

Aging is a natural process that affects everyone. If your parents grew old gracefully, then you will probably follow the same path, however, if you are abusing of certain habits, such as smoking or solar exposure, then you may be accelerating the aging process.

Lack of moisture can make your skin age faster. Dry skin tends to produce more wrinkles and looks duller than hydrated skin. The best way of counteracting this problem is by drinking plenty of water and consuming foods that supply your body with moisture, such as raw fruits and vegetables. Another great way of counteracting the aging process is by applying a daily moisturizer daily.

It is also a good idea to moderate your intake of sugar, fried foods (eliminate these, if possible), coffee, alcohol and sodas. These foods are known for promoting dehydration, something you’ll want to avoid.

Pollution and other environmental factors can also have a negative effect on your skin. In fact, they can counterbalance the positive effects produced by following a regular aging skin care routine and eventually help lead to eye wrinkles0 and brittle skin. Regular cleansing is so important because it keeps smog and car exhaust from leading to cell damage and death.

The TV and mass media have us believing that tanning is healthy, however, constant, repeated and excessive exposure to the sun damages the skin. This type of damage is irreversible and accumulative. Smoking is a terrible habit that damages you lungs and your skin - all of your skin. Unlike solar damage which only affects the areas exposed to direct sunlight, smoking affects the skin all over your body leading to wrinkles and brittle, dry skin.

Simple Ways of Taking Care of Your Skin

Anti wrinkle creams can be a great way to treat the signs of premature aging. Nevertheless, there are a few simple anti wrinkle and anti aging tips that can help may your anti-aging routine much more effective.

Use a sunscreen lotion (or sunblock) every day. Make sure that the sunscreen you are using is at least SPF 30 and that it can protect against UVA and UVB rays. Reapply often throughout the day.

Use a topical exfoliant once or twice a week. You can use a mechanical exfoliant (scrub) or a chemical one (AHAs or salicylic acid). Try a product with AHAs if you have dry skin or sensitive skin.

If you are looking for an effective wrinkle cream try REJUVENATING CREAM from the BERRYSISTIBLE line of skin care products. This aging cream contains natural ingredients - like snail serum and strawberry seed oil - that help moisturize and treat aging skin. REJUVENATING CREAM is a natural skin care that can be used without fearing undesired side effects.

Skin Rashes: A Voice Of Warning

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Having a skin rash can be a great nuisance. They don`t only have an ugly appearance, they can also be quite painful and itchy. Different types of rashes can look very different. At times, rashes come in the form of blisters, but other times they can appear as red, swollen areas, areas that look like bruises, small, red dots, etc. But no matter what it looks like, a rash is only the consequence of another problem. Here we will present some of the conditions that result in rashes as a consequence.

Conditions that entail skin rashes

Rosacea is a constant condition that has as its main symptoms redness and pimples. Although it mostly affects the face, chin, forehead and nose; it can also involve the neck, chest, ears and even the scalp. Perment redness is the main aspect of the rash caused by Rosacea but if the case aggravates, small red bumps can appear and the patient may suffer a burning and stinging sensation.

Acne, according to a medical dictionary is a ‘Localized skin inflammation as a result of over activity of the oil glands at the base of hair follicles. Acne happens when oil (sebaceous) glands come to life around puberty, when these glands are stimulated by male hormones that are produced in the adrenal glands of both boys and girls’. The normal skin bacteria proliferates due to the over production of sebum and it causes the inflammation. The most affected by this skin condition are teenagers and the breakouts usually appear on the face, the chest and the back. It can emerge as whiteheads, black heads, sore red bumps and cysts, which are pimples that go deeper than usual.

A bacterial infection of the skin and the areas beneath it is what is defined as Cellulitis. The skin’s deepest layers can get affected by this condition as well. When this infection begins, the first symptoms are redness and a little bit of swelling, but if the bacteria reproduces itself, the patient may develop fever and the red area becomes larger and swollen nodes appear around the affected area. Cellulitis usually can be found surrounding the area of a cut, a scrape or a skin breach

Constant sun exposure can cause Actinic Keratosis, which is also known as Solar Keratosis. It could be the previous stage to cancer, and so it must be treated carefully. It affects the face, scalp and the back of the hands and they tend to be scaly patches in pink or gray and also bumps can be formed. It is a serious condition because it could be the warning stage for skin cancer.

Most of the time it is treated with medicine prescribed by a dermatologist and using a biological skin moisturizer helps as well.

Bioskincare is a product line that offers a natural skin treatment for most conditions. Try these products and you will find the solution to your problem, whether you need dry skin relief, to get rid of acne or Rosacea, or any other skin condition. You will be glad you did.

How To Avoid Razor Burns And Razor Bumps

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Shaving is a done daily by both men and women. The reason is probably because it is the quickest and most convenient way to get rid of unwanted hair. However, it does come with a downside: razor burn and razor bumps.

A razor burn is literally the ‘burn’ caused when the razor scrapes your skin causing a rash or irritation. It will go away after a few hours, but you don’t always have that time to spare, especially if you’re getting ready to go on a date or to an important function.

Razor bumps (also known as shaving bumps and ingrown hairs) show up as the hair grows back. These are common in both men and women, especially those with curly hair. If the razor bump isn’t treated correctly it can become infected and take on the appearance of an acne breakout.

To avoid getting razor burn and/or razor bumps, here are a few suggestions.

Prepare your Skin

Before shaving, you must prepare your skin. If your skin is soft, it will be less likely to suffer from shaving. Plus, if the hair is soft, it will cut more evenly, thereby helping prevent razor bumps.

The way to prepare the skin, is by using warm water along with a shaving gel or foam. If you are shaving a beard, place a warm, damp washcloth on your face for a few minutes to soften the hair. This will help open the pores and prevent razor burn.

How to Shave

By knowing how to shave correctly you can prevent razor burns and razor bumps. First, you should always use a sharp razor because dull razors harm your skin.

Next, always sterilize your razor before and after using it. This will keep bacteria at bay and keep any possible razor bumps from getting infection.

Remember to shave in direction of the hair growth. By shaving against the growth, you are promoting the formation of ingrown hairs.

Also, take your time shaving. If you’re running short on time, wait until you do have time to spare or you may end up with a serious case of razor burn or covered in nicks. Finally, use an after shave cream or gel to provide maximum razor burn relief

How to Alleviate Razor Burn and How to Eliminate Razor Bumps

If you have developed one of these problems, there are razor burn and razor bump products that can help your deal with them. An effective razor burn product contains soothing ingredients that can alleviate the irritation. They may also contain ingredients to reduce the chance of infection.

Most razor bump products come in the form of exfoliation creams. By using this type of product, you can allow the ingrown hair to break free from the skin. If this type of razor bump solution appeals to you, then you should definitely start looking for an effective at-home treatment.

It’s quite simple, all you have to do is soak the affected area with a warm, damp wash cloth. Then, exfoliate gently and coax out the hair using a pair of clean tweezers. Be careful not to break the skin because you can risk infection.

BIOSKINRELIEF is a natural cream composted of snail serum extract. Its benefits are plenty including treatment for razor bumps, ingrown hairs removal, even folliculitis.

Chemical Peels- Chemical Peel Options, Benefits And Side Effects

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Doctors use chemical peels only on people that have superficial scars. The aim is to get rid of the dead skin cells and release the new ones. This method is recommended for people that don’t suffer from severe acne scars and deep wrinkles. Chemical peels are not recommended for people with major skin flaws.

Chemical Peel Treatment

Alpha hydroxyl facial peels:

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) consist of organic carbolic acids. This is the mildest of the peel formulas and produces light peels for treatment of fine wrinkles, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne. The specialist determines how much of this his product is to be used. For instance the most concentrated level is, 50- 70% and is only administered by doctors. This treatment is compared with microdermabrasion since they can give like results and also must be repeated every 2-5 years. With such a high concentration comes more skin irritation such as severe redness, and flaking. There are at home chemical peels available with amounts of alpha hydroxy acid as low as 10%.

Trichloroacetic acid facial peels:

Another acid called Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) can be an alternative to skin abrasion. This acid helps to improve severely damaged skin. This method is more invasive thus it involves more risks. The recovery from the procedure’s effects can take more than one week.

Phenol facial peels:

One of the most intense chemical peels is called a Phenol Peel. Doctors recommend this procedure especially for patients with severe damage on their skin. The procedure can take up to one hour to complete and at the end the skin is neutralized with cold water. One of the effects of phenol peels is the loss of pigmentation, therefore it may not be appropriate for patients with dark skin.

Chemical peels have many advantages. One of them is that they diminish the expression lines. Acne scar removal can be achieved through chemical peels. Whether you chose an over the counter chemical peel or you have a more intensive treatment done, your skins texture will be smoother and more refreshed.

There are however some limitations to chemical peels. They cannot change pore size or deep acne scars on the face, only improve the appearance of these conditions similar to laser resurfacing or dermabrasion. The cost of chemical peels can sometimes be a deterrent. Since multiple treatments are required to achieve results, chemical peels prices may be too expensive.

Natural products such as BIOSKINCARE represent a cheaper and safer treatment in comparison to chemical peels and dermabrasion. Through the use of BIOSKINCARE, dead skin is removed leaving the new fresh dermis to appear. BIOSKINCARE can be used as a great acne treatment and it will also greatly improve fine wrinkles and is safe for sensitive skin.

The DL On Choosing A Back Acne Remedy

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Although the name might seem amusing, bacne (medically coined acne vulgaris of the back), isn’t a skin ailment that is funny or fun to deal with. If you are dedicated to finding a back acne remedy, it is essential to first understand acne causes, prevention methods and the different types of back acne treatments.

Causes of Back Acne

Acne vulgaris, or simply acne, is an inflammatory response concentrated in the pilosebaceous units, or PSUs. PSUs consist of the hair and the hair follicle, a sebaceous gland and the corresponding sebum it manufactures and the skin pore. The sebaceous gland produces sebum, an oil, to moisturize and protect the skin. When the pore, the opening to the skin’s surface, becomes blocked, sebum cannot exit the follicle and begins to collect. The strength of the flow of sebum through the follicle, in addition to this blockage, causes injury to the cells lining the canal. The body’s immune response to this injury causes the inflammation and redness that is commonly associated with the zit.

Contrary to traditional thought, the main cause of acne is not bacteria but the injury caused to the follicular canals by sebum. Hormone imbalance is the main reason for increased production of sebum and, therefore, the damaging force of sebum flow to the skin surface.

Although not the main cause of acne, bacteria do participate in the manifestation of acne. P. acnes, a naturally found bacteria in the skin, is the type of acne that contributes to acne. When the follicle ruptures, sebum and dead skin cells infected with this bacterium, pour into the dermis and cause the infection.

Other lesser contributing factors are those that cause the clogging of pores. Sebum (especially sebum that has hardened due to the body’s deficit in essential fatty acids) and excess skin cells are the major offenders.

Other contributors, especially for acne on the back, are the use of tight clothing and not bathing after exercising. Both create an environment conducive to bacteria growth and contribute to oil buildup.

Back Acne Prevention

Now that you are aware of the causes of acne, you can better prevent back acne.

Even though we can’t control the onset of puberty or our genetic makeup, there are ways we can better control sebum production. Stress causes hormone imbalances which indirectly signal the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum. There are many ways to reduce stress; some include breathing exercises and meditation, yoga, getting a restful night’s sleep, exercise and improving one’s time management skills to avoid stress.

By increasing your consumption of essential fatty acids, you can easily avoid the pore-blocking hardening of sebum. You can easily do this by purchasing Omega-3 supplements, which include fish, cod liver or flax seed. You can also decrease the chance of clogging pores by exfoliating the back with light scrubs or a loofah sponge.

Additionally, you can manage the amount of P. acnes bacteria inhabiting your skin with proper cleansing. Always shower after exercising and wear loose clothing that breathes well.

Back Acne Treatment

To clear up back acne once you have it, a regimen similar to that for facial acne can be followed:

Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are the most common over-the-counter products recommended to get rid of back acne. Both of these products dry the oil found superficially in the skin and can arouse further irritation. Unfortunately, benzoyl peroxide has been discovered to damage the skin by releasing free radicals.

Retinoids, prescriptions that activate the retinoid receptors, eliminate fine lines, shrink the size of pores, decrease sebum production and reduce the size of the sebaceous glands. These products also cause drying of the skin and sensitivity to the sun. Isotretinoin, a retinoid known by the brand name Accutane, is often the last step for severe acne on the back.

Prescription antibiotics, oral or topical, can be prescribed by doctors to control the population of bacteria in the skin. Additionally, they reduce the amount of irritating chemicals produced by white blood cells in the immune response. Side effects include sun sensitivity, skin discoloration, nausea and candida vaginal yeast infections in women, among others.

To clear back acne, especially severe bacne, you should see your general practitioner or dermatologist. Even though you are better equipped to choose a bacne treatment after reading this article, we have only provided a general overview on the types of treatment available; by visiting your dermatologist, he or she will carefully review your symptoms, family history, skin type, etc. to best recommend a treatment for you.

Even if you suffer from disfiguring acne scars, bacne, or facial acne, don’t worry. Biocutis’ broad line of acne treatment products can treat a wide variety of acne skin needs. All products sport a base of snail serum that stimulates the skin’s regenerative processes, enzymatically removes excess skin and moderates the immune response. Whether you are looking for a mild acne cream, an oil-free treatment for moderate acne, or something stronger as a back acne treatment, Biocutis has the right product for youFor severe acne on the back, try BIOSKINFORTE, a specially formulated product for severe acne and cysts.

Stretch marks seem to be one of the most common skin issues around. They can appear during pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss and during growth spurts. In truth, most experts agree that there is no sure fire way of eliminating them.

Stretch marks or striae are a type of scarring that is caused when the dermis tears due to over stretching. They usually appear in the fat storing areas of the body, i.e. hips, upper arms, breasts, thighs, abdomen and present themselves as reddish lines. They slowly fade and become light, silvery lines.

These striae do not pose any health risk, but they do affect the appearance of your skin which could lead to self esteem issues. For this reason, many people have searched for stretch marks remedies or better yet the ultimate solution of stretch mark removal.

To prevent stretch marks, studies have shown that the daily application of creams that contain centella asiatica extract, vitamin E, and hydrolysates resulted in less stretch marks during pregnancy. Additionally, many women swear that using cocoa butter has helped them prevent stretchmarks, even though this claim is not backed by the experts.

Alternatives for Reducing Stretch Marks

Nevertheless, surgery is the foremost solution for the removal of stretch marks. Dermabrasion and laser treatments are also being used to reduce the appearance of the scarring produced by stretch marks.

Lately, natural skin care lotions are becoming an increasingly important to people searching for a non-invasive treatment for stretch marks and other skin care concerns. These types of lotions usually contain a combination of retinoids, glycolic acid and vitamin C. This combination helps increase the production of collagen and elastin which supplies the skin with more elasticity, therefore, reducing the possibility of scarring. They also improve circulation and, in turn, improve the general aspect of the skin.

Stretch marks are an unfortunate fact of life. They can appear during pregnancy, rapid weight gain or loss and during growth spurts. Eliminating stretch marks seems to be an impossible task, according to most experts.

Acne Care Myths - Do They Help Or Exacerbate?

Monday, February 6th, 2012

Men and women affected by acne tend to follow some rules to keep acne blemishes controlled. Some recommendations are to expose yourself to the sun, squeezing pimples and to stay away from some foods. These are just myths about breakouts that can actually damage the skin, generating more breakouts that can eventually cause scarring.

Myths about Acne

Bacteria: Bacteria appear to be the main suspect. Due to this reason, individuals tend to over-wash the skin. Over-washing your face will strip your skin from essential lipids that are needed to provide lubrication to the skin. A lack of surface lipids will make your skin dry and irritated which will set off an over-production of sebum. Sebum builds up and clogs along with devitalized cells within follicles, resulting in breakouts. A great advice is to wash your face, not more than twice a day with a mild soap or cleanser.

Popping Zits: Squeezing a zit can seem to be a fast solution to remove breakouts. This is really not the best acne care solution as it causes inflammation and irritation of the skin, making the pimple last for longer. Too much squeezing can provoke the appearance of a brown mark and these ugly marks can eventually become even uglier acne scars.

Sun Exposure: Sun exposure is another myth to eliminate zits. Tanning is a momentary solution because UV radiation dries the skin which means that it is only another hosting method for other problems and disorders. If you over-expose your skin to direct sun light, your skin can also get irritated. When you sunburn, the body starts its own healing process. If the skin is heavily burned, the body’s curative process can result in scarring.

Diet: It has been speculated for a long time that a bad diet encourages the appearance of blemishes. Junk foods are the main suspects in this theory. These foods are normally packed with sugars and high levels of fat which are certainly not good for your body in the first place. They can however be enjoyed in modest amounts as there is no real proof that these foods generate acne.

Acne Care 101

You must use a biological acne skin caretreatment to effectively eliminate zits. The key compound is a serum, from the garden snail snail serum, which is capable to cure its own shell and skin when damaged. Topical preparations that contain this great ingredient do not have any side effects; essential properties to prevent this ailment from getting worse.

Myths about acne products are often wrong recommendations that can make your skin problem worse.

Stop the formation of blemishes and Get rid of acne scars applying BIOACNECARE; a biological skin care solution that promotes a regenerated, revitalized, youthful and healthy looking skin complexion.

There is only one correct way to remove a pimple and that is to apply a topical product that contains necessary compounds like snail serum, to renew, restore and to acne scars.

Let us tell you how to do it.

Imagine smiling when you see your reflection. Imagine being happy with your skin and holding your head straight while you walk into the office. No person wants to feel embarrassed about their appearance. No one wants to think people are gawking at their acne scars and giggling. It is time to do something about your skin afflictions and feel good about your skin again.

There is a new acne scar cream that is more advanced than any other on the market. There is an all natural scar removal technique that will help you fill in depressed acne scarring as well as the red colorations left by acne cysts. It is far different than any other scar treatment sitting in your local grocery aisle. Old acne scar treatments centered on covering the blemish. We concentrate on dissolving and renewing the skin.

Get Rid of Acne Scars By Promoting Skin Renewal From Deep Inside the Body.

Acne scars affect millions of individuals, making the search for an potent skin treatment product a very important one. We have read stirring testimonials from acne scar sufferers who have contacted us and told us how a new treatment cream changed their lives. People sometimes search for an effective treatment for scars for years with no luck.

Thousands of customers have reported how a biological treatment cream has ended their 15 to 20 year search for a cure. Acne breakouts cause people to take aggressive steps, which in turn can damage their appearance. We have heard from customers who have acne scars around their mouth and chin. Of course these skin blemishes will make someone feel uncomfortable! People have written telling us stories of how the new acne scar treatment product does things for their appearance that even dermatologists and dermabrasion can’t.

It is time to stop linking laser surgeries and dermabrasion with acne and scars. Serious cosmetic surgery is not the answer to improving the skins appearance. Surgical procedures can leave your skin redder and more irritated than it was before the surgery. Stop shelling out thousands of dollars for scar removal and start remodeling your cells on a biological level utilizing an all natural acne skin care treatment product for a few months.

Acne scars and Dead Cells Can be Diffused With a Biological Skin Treatment Product.

Eliminating the dead cells is one of the most important aspect of acne scar removal. Dissolving dead cells and scarring from the skin matrix will abate the reddish appearance of acne scars.

With topical application of the new solution, twice a day, old, dead or dying cells are biologically diffused and replaced with fresh collagen and elastin components. This is how you can effectively eliminate scars.

Biological enzymes found in the cream improve transmission between cells and foster proliferation of fibroblasts which in turn boosts collagen, elastin and water holding levels in the skin. Higher levels of water holding molecules, collagen and elastin are essential to rebuild growth in the spot where the scar was. This is an essential process in the filling in of depressed scarring like ice pick scars and chicken pox scars.

The biological skin care treatment also augments the development of more of the natural antimicrobial peptides that your skin usually emits to keep micro-organisms at bay. This is more of an acne scar prevention method as opposed to an acne scar removal procedure.

Microbes and foreign substances can thrive on the skin and find their way into pores at inopportune times. Making sure microbes aren’t allowed to thrive on the skin prevents acne breakouts and thus future acne scarring.

We understand this may have you scratching your head and thinking if it is too good to be true. I promise you it is not! Visit the website in the links and you will see it is loaded full of information on how this acne scarring treatment can renew and revitalize your complexion.
